dairy cows

MY cows are NOT abused nor exploited. they are well-fed, can wander in their pasture, stay on the cool cement cowyard OR come inside out of the sun. i don't know any farms around us that abuse or exploit their animals. we name our cows as you would do with any other pet, provide comfortable living arrangements, respect their needs, and enjoy their personalities. DON'T stereotype all farmers as abusers. check out margarine and decide if those chemicals are healthier than butter. creating butter doesn't cause the cow pain, it eases her discomfort when she's milked. why not take a vacation and stay on a dairy farm sometime. it's quite relaxing being around such peaceful creatures. debby/Wisconsin
