Cure For Brittle Nails

If you have brittle or splitting nails then you must increase the intake of Vitamin B Biotin in your diet. This helps in thickening of the nails. Start having a glass of milk with barley, corn, legumes (peanuts and soybeans), and cauliflower as servings. It is advised that you keep your nails well hydrated with a good cuticle and nail oil. Some good nail oils are Jojoba and Vitamin E oil.

Doctors advice the increase in intake of vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin C, calcium, niacin, and iron for the treatment of brittle nails. You must also have a diet rich in proteins for healthy nails.

Last but not the least, be careful about your nails while performing household chores. Wear vinyl gloves, and keep your nails short and sweet to avoid splitting.
