Everyone loves eating chocolate. But very few people know that chocolate can be a reason why their skin is break out. Recent studies shows that foods with a higher glycemic index such as refined carbohydrates and sweets may be linked with skin breakouts.
American Journal of Clinical Nutrition has done a research on men age 15 to 25. Men who spent 12 weeks on a diet of protein and low-glycemic slow-metabolizing carbohydrates successfully reduced their acne by twice in a control group.
